Youthful Chronicles

Written by: The Brainstorm Brigade: Mohammed, Sultan, Bwer and Ikram - 7C

As I stepped through the doors of my new school, a rush of nerves washed over me. It was a haunting task to start a fresh at a place where everyone seemed to already have their own group of friends.
I watched as groups of students chatted and laughed, making me feeling like an outsider in a sea of similarity. The days turned to weeks, and I found myself struggling to break through the walls of loneliness which had formed around me. It seemed like everyone had already found their place, leaving me feeling lost and alone.
I tried to join conversations to participate in group activities, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being an outsider looking in. The fear of rejection loomed over me like a dark cloud, making it hard for me to open up and connect with my classmates. But I refused to give up. I reminded myself that challenges are meant to be conquered, not avoided.
So, I decided to step out of the box of loneliness and find myself some new friends.
