There are many methods to study. Some students can't learn properly using old school methods as they are unreliable. These methods make students lose interest in learning. Feeling demotivated, which is completely normal, can happen to anyone.
There are many different ways to resolve this issue. Examples are such as the use of educational games that turn learning into a game with points, rewards, and creating friendly competition; turning facts or equations into songs or raps to memorize them more easily, or instrumental study playlists to increase concentration and reduce distraction.
Also, encouraging learners to decorate their notes with different colored pens, as well as sticking vibrant classroom posters containing information around a room, can stimulate learning.
Crosswords or word searches with key terms and concepts as well as study-based escape rooms where solving problems or finding answers to unlock clues, add fun and adventure to learning. Something that kids enjoy.
Organizing study sessions with themes, where everyone dresses up, or focuses on that theme while learning and teaching someone else what you've learned, are other great ways to foster learning. Learners can even take turns being teachers!
Exploring fun ways to learn and study can make students feel more motivated to study and reduce their stress. Learners can transform their study sessions into exciting experiences, leading to greater academic success.
I like how our teacher allows us to use colourful pens when we’re writing notes. The only problem is some students write very slowly because of this. They don’t finish writing because they are busy switching from one pen to another 😅
